Brian Ross FCPA, FCA

Principal

Brian Ross is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. He earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1985 with a national firm in Edmonton and has been practicing in Bonnyville and Cold Lake for more than 25 years as an owner and partner of the leading accounting firm in the area.

In recent years, a greater portion of Brian’s practice has involved business advisory services to clients directly or indirectly involved in the oil and gas service sector, particularly with merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions. Brian has been active in the CA student education process over the years, is a past member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta’s practice review and professional development committees and was awarded the honour of Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Alberta (FCA) in 2007.

Brian believes in giving back to the community in which he lives and has been involved in local hockey as the director of the Bonnyville Pontiacs and as a member of the board of the Lakeland Sports and Recreation Association. Brian is also a past vice president of the Bonnyville Chamber of Commerce.
